We built this because we needed it
ShoBiz started the way a lot of useful software does: we needed it, and it did not exist.
We were running businesses and doing the work for other people's businesses at the same time. Client records in one place. Bank and credit card applications tracked in a spreadsheet. Documents in a shared drive. Invoices somewhere else. Contracts emailed back and forth as attachments. Messages scattered across inboxes and phones.
Every one of those tools was fine on its own. Together they were the problem — the same client's details typed into six systems, none of which agreed with each other.
It started narrow
The first version was built for managing our own businesses, business credit and funding work: tracking applications across banks, keeping the documents each lender wanted, knowing which client was waiting on what, and remembering who to follow up with.
That is a demanding place to start. It means handling sensitive financial data properly from the first day — Social Security numbers, bank statements, credit reports — rather than bolting security on later. It also means the record-keeping has to be exact, because a missing document or a forgotten follow-up costs someone a real approval.
Then the same request kept arriving
Once the funding side worked, the businesses using it asked for the rest.
Can I invoice from here? Can I keep my vendors here too? Can I send the agreement from the same place I store the client? Can I run my books here instead of exporting to something else?
They were not asking for more features. They were asking to stop switching tools. Each addition came from a business that had hit a wall, so the platform grew outward from real work rather than from a roadmap someone drew in advance.
That is how ShoBiz ended up covering clients, banking, e-commerce, employees, vendors, accounting, documents, and communication — not because a wide platform was the goal, but because the businesses using it kept needing the next piece to be in the same place as the last one.
What we believe
One system beats six good ones. Software that does one job brilliantly still leaves you reconciling it against everything else. The reconciling is the work nobody accounts for.
Your data is yours. You can export it whenever you want. We do not sell it, we do not train AI models on it, and you can switch AI processing off entirely.
Sensitive data deserves real protection, not a promise. Social Security numbers, banking credentials and two-factor secrets are encrypted at the application layer, separately from the database. Our Security page says exactly what we do and what we have not done.
Say what is true. We hold no security certification yet, so we say so. We do not publish customer counts we cannot substantiate. Our Terms state plainly that we are not a bank, not a credit reporting agency, and not a credit repair organisation — because in this industry those claims get made loosely, and they matter.
Start small, grow into it. Turn on what you need and ignore the rest. Nothing forces you to adopt the whole platform to get value from one part of it.
Who it's for
Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets but do not want an enterprise implementation project. Operators running more than one business who are tired of separate logins, separate subscriptions, and separate versions of the same client.
One account can own or operate unlimited businesses, each with its own branding, users, data and settings.
Where we are
ShoBiz is operated by VaultWiz LLC, registered in Wyoming, working remotely across the United States.
We are a small team. That shows up in both directions: you will not get a ticket number and a queue, and we will not pretend to be a bigger company than we are.
