Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: September 16, 2026
Last Updated: September 16, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs what you may and may not do with the ShoBiz platform, operated by VaultWiz LLC ("ShoBiz," "we," "us").

This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. Violating it is a material breach of those Terms. It applies to you, to your users, and to anyone acting through your account.

We may update this AUP as new abuse patterns appear. Material changes are announced under Section 7.

1. Prohibited Businesses and Content

You may not use the Services in connection with, or to store, promote, process, or transmit material relating to:

1.1 Adult Content

Pornography, sexually explicit material, escort or sexual services, adult entertainment venues, and age-restricted adult subscription sites.

1.2 Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets

The sale, exchange, brokerage, custody, mining, or marketing of cryptocurrency, tokens, NFTs, or other digital assets; crypto exchanges, wallets, ATMs, mining operations, and initial coin offerings.

1.3 Illicit and Controlled Substances

Illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, precursor chemicals, and substances marketed as legal alternatives to controlled substances. This includes cannabis, THC, CBD sold with health claims, kratom, nitrous oxide, and other unregulated intoxicants, regardless of state-law status — because our payment processors and messaging carriers prohibit them nationwide.

1.4 Weapons and Explosives

Firearms, firearm parts and accessories, ammunition, explosives, and other regulated weapons.

1.5 Gambling

Casinos, sports betting, lotteries, raffles, sweepstakes, fantasy sports played for money, and other games of chance.

1.6 Multi-Level Marketing and Financial Schemes

Multi-level marketing, pyramid and Ponzi schemes, chain letters, matrix programs, "get rich quick" offers, and any income opportunity making earnings claims it cannot substantiate.

1.7 Predatory Financial Products

Payday lending, advance-fee loans, debt elimination schemes, bail bonds, and any offer to remove accurate information from a credit report or to establish a new credit identity. Legitimate credit counselling and lawful dispute of inaccurate information are permitted.

1.8 Counterfeit and Infringing Goods

Counterfeit goods, stolen property, and material that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, patent, or other rights.

1.9 Human Exploitation

Human trafficking, forced labor, exploitation of minors, and child sexual abuse material. We report suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement, and we preserve the associated records.

1.10 Health, Pharmaceutical, and Deceptive Marketing

Prescription pharmaceuticals sold without a valid prescription, nutraceuticals making unapproved disease or health claims, miracle cures, telemarketing fraud, and deceptive or unsubstantiated marketing of any kind.

1.11 Hate, Harassment, and Violence

Hate speech, targeted harassment, threats, doxxing, incitement to violence, and material promoting terrorism or violent extremism.

This list is not exhaustive. We may refuse or discontinue service for any use we reasonably determine creates legal, reputational, financial, or carrier risk — including uses our payment processors, banking partners, or messaging carriers prohibit, and including businesses that are lawful but outside the risk we are able to carry.

If you are unsure whether your business qualifies, ask us at info@shobizapp.com before subscribing. We would much rather answer the question than suspend you later.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Regardless of your industry, you may not:

2.1 Security and Integrity

  • Upload or transmit malware, ransomware, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or degrade the Services
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, another account, or any data you are not entitled to
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our prior written consent
  • Circumvent authentication, rate limits, plan limits, or seat counts
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Services, except where that restriction is unenforceable by law

2.2 Data and Privacy

  • Upload personal data you do not have the right or consent to process
  • Use the Services to make credit, employment, insurance, or housing decisions in a manner that violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use another person's data without authorization
  • Share login credentials, or give access to someone whose access we have terminated

2.3 Messaging

  • Send unsolicited commercial email or text messages
  • Message recipients who have not given the consent the law and the carriers require
  • Ignore or delay opt-out requests
  • Use misleading sender information, subject lines, or message content

Detailed messaging rules are in the Messaging Policy.

2.4 Platform Use

  • Resell, sublicense, or operate the Services as a service bureau, except as your plan expressly permits
  • Scrape the Services by automated means, or exceed documented API rate limits
  • Use the Services to build or train a competing product
  • Remove or obscure proprietary notices

3. Your Responsibility for Others

You are responsible for the conduct of every user on your account, and for content uploaded through it. If you resell or provide services to your own clients using ShoBiz, you remain responsible for their use.

4. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, email info@shobizapp.com with the subject line "AUP Report" and include:

  • What you observed, and where — a URL, page, message, or account identifier
  • When it happened
  • Any supporting evidence
  • How we can reach you if we need more detail

We review every report. We may not be able to tell you the outcome, because the result usually concerns another party's account.

Report child exploitation or an immediate threat to life urgently, marking the subject line "URGENT". Contact law enforcement as well — we are not an emergency service.

5. How We Enforce

What we do depends on severity, intent, and whether it has happened before.

ResponseWhen
Notice and opportunity to fixA first, good-faith, low-harm issue — a mis-worded campaign, a consent gap
Feature restrictionRepeated messaging complaints or carrier violations; we may disable messaging while the rest of your account continues
SuspensionSerious or repeated violations, or a failure to fix after notice
Immediate termination without noticeIllegal activity, child exploitation, fraud, a security threat to the platform or other customers, or a prohibited business under Section 1

We will give notice and a chance to fix the problem wherever it is practical and not prohibited — but where a violation is illegal, ongoing, or threatens others, we act first and explain afterward.

Consequences. Suspension or termination under this AUP does not entitle you to a refund. Where your violation causes carrier penalties, processor fines, or chargebacks, those amounts are your responsibility under the indemnification section of the Terms of Service.

We may preserve and disclose records where the law requires it or where necessary to investigate a violation.

6. Appealing a Decision

If you believe we acted in error, email info@shobizapp.com with the subject line "AUP Appeal" within 30 days, explaining why. A person who was not involved in the original decision will review it, and we will respond within 10 business days.

While an appeal is open, a suspension normally stays in place. If we got it wrong, we will restore your account and credit any subscription time lost.

7. Changes

We will revise the "Last Updated" date when this AUP changes. For changes that materially restrict what you may do, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account, unless a shorter period is needed to address an urgent legal or security issue.
